Hey, Christian.

Did you know that before you existed, God declared that you would be His, and then made the strongest oath that could be made to guarantee that declaration (Ephesians 1.3-6, Hebrews 6.13-20)?

Did you know that the reason you’re saved is not because you’re good enough, or smart enough, or cute enough, or handsome enough, but because God is perfectly faithful (Ephesians 2.8-10, 2 Timothy 1.8-9)?

Did you know that God will work out everything in your life for your greatest good and His greatest glory, which are incidentally one and the same (Romans 8.28, John 15.1-11)?

Did you know that you’ll never get anything from God besides His mercy and love, because His wrath was spent on Jesus at the cross (John 1.14-16, Romans 5.8-9)?

Did you know that you’re guaranteed to become everything God has called you to be (Romans 8.29-30, 2 Peter 1.3)?

…Yeah, of course you knew that.  I just wanted to remind you.

Be encouraged, Christian!

About Joe Eaton

I praise God that my standing before Him has nothing to do with who I am or what I've done; it is found solely in the perfect life that Christ lived in my place, and His which atoned for my sin. "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that IN HIM we might become the righteousness of God"..."There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

Joe, thanks for this, it is always good to be reminded that God’s got it all covered and we don’t need to worry.
