“Redeeming the time”

All of us have spare time.  Some people have a lot more of it than other people do, but everyone has it to a certain degree.  If we are called to “glorify God with [our] bodies” (1 Corinthians 6:20), does it not stand to reason that that principle applies to all of our time, whether we’re working or hanging out?  So how do we “walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16)?

There are many ways to do this.  I won’t give you a list. 🙂  I will say, however, that one of the ways we can do redeem the time is by praying for each other.  Prayer glorifies God in many ways, and there is so much power in prayer.  All that said, how can I pray for you?  I’d love to hear from you!  You can leave me a comment or fill out the form on the “Contact” page.

Let’s be careful to make the best use of free time, because the days are indeed evil!

About Joe Eaton

I praise God that my standing before Him has nothing to do with who I am or what I've done; it is found solely in the perfect life that Christ lived in my place, and His which atoned for my sin. "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that IN HIM we might become the righteousness of God"..."There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
